Prime Movers For Hire

At Freight Solutions Australia Group we have the capabilities to offer a complete range of heavy haulage, container transport and line haul solutions Australia-wide with a modern fleet of prime movers available for wet hire. Our fleet of prime movers regularly operate from Rockhampton through to Brisbane, and service all the regions in between, including Gladstone, Emerald, Blackwater, Biloela, Bundaberg and the Sunshine Coast. We have Mack prime movers that can haul 50-tonne loads through to models with the towing power of up to 131 tonnes. Our fleet also has Volvo prime movers with a load capacity of up to 70,000 tonnes.

Our available fleet of prime movers

Our fleet of prime mover models range from the Volvo FH540 and Mack Quantum C2005 through to the Mack Trident MP8, which has the highest load-bearing capacity. All of our prime movers have a wide range of features, which are listed below:

Mack Quantum C2005 (50-tonne load bearing capacity)

The Mack Quantum has a six cylinder turbo diesel engine for pulling power and fuel efficiency. With an 18 speed manual transmission, it has the capacity to comfortably navigate a wide range of conditions with or without a full load. This model also has a 470 hp engine, airbag suspension, two fuel tanks, 10 stud wheel rims and a high-quality Pioneer stereo.

With conventional bogie drive, the Volvo FH540 is ideal for a wide range of load-bearing tasks, from transporting formwork and large-scale steel fabrications through to containers and heavy machinery parts. It is very economical to drive and has a 540 hp engine, airbag, bull bar, alloy wheels and UHF radio.

Mack Trident MP8 (131-tonne load bearing capacity)

The Mack Trident has two steering axle positions, which are axle back and axle forward, enabling this model to be used for a broad scope of load bearing applications, from low loader, line haul and b-double through to tipper and dog. It has a 500 hp engine, automated manual transmission, excellent fuel efficiency, low emissions and hill start assist.
